Katha Puja Phra Kreung (Invite Your ‘Phra Kreung’/Amulets To Be With You)

Basically for amulets we wear are categorize either as Phra Kreung or Kreung Raeng. Phra Kreung means amulets which depicts forms of Buddha or his followers like Phra Sivali or Phra Sangachai or virtuous monks of which we must wear above the waistline. Kreung Raeng would include takrut, Hanuman, Chucok, Bia Gae etc which does not depicts the higher orders of Buddha and his Sanghas.

One should always or encourage to practise this. Invite the Gurus and his blessings to be with us before wearing our amulets. Hold your amulets in your palm in ‘wai’ position.

Katha to increase ‘responsiveness’ of amulet. 提高佛牌力量或感应力


We constantly receive enquiries about how can amulet collectors increase their amulet’s ‘responsiveness’ or in Thai they call it ’saksit’ . Responsiveness or saksit usually refer to the effectiveness of the amulet in answering our request.

We have to stress again here ( as we have share in our previous posts ) that such responsiveness depends on many factors. For example our Karma or our parami/perfections. We have shared a simple katha before this, chanting of Mak A U, or Nak Mo Budh Dha Yak or Nak Mak Pak Tak but perhaps our readers are expecting something a little bit more challenging. A word of advise for the Katha enthusiasts, it is not just in the Katha alone but our heart as well in order to effectively execute a Katha.

Here is another Katha we can use to chant to increase the responsiveness of the amulet.

Luang Phor Rith (Roonchoto)

Luang Phor Rith Roonchoto was born on the 20th May 1916 and was christened Rith Mauluekdee. He is currently 86 years old and entered the priesthood in 1941 at petcha buri Temple , Surin.

Many Will know that this is the residence of the famous Luang Phor Hong. After serving his apprentiship and spending many year on pilgramage in the forests surrounding Chonlappratharn Ratchadamnri temple he became the abbot of Indraburapa Temple , Krasang District , Buririam.

Having been in the priesthood for 66 years he is highly revered by the locals of Buriram where he nbow resides . He has also gained much respect from both Thai and international amulet collectors. Luang Phor Rith was promoted to Phrakru Indraworakhun on the 5th December 2002. His domicile is Tungmon Sub-district , Surin.

Luang Phor Rith is respected as one of the Extreme sacred monk in Burirum Province . He has created many kinds of famous sacred amulet such as the Phra Khunpaen Prai kumara SEries , SalikaKoo Takruts , Cloth amulets , Ruay Ngern Ruay Tong amulets , etc , all of Which are Extremely.

Nowadays Luang Poo Rith is the abbot of Wat CHolpatanrachadumri , Krasang District , Burirum Province , and athough the Province is a long distance from the capital he still receives many visitor seeking his amulets.

Aport from his Sacred amulet Luang Poo Rith is also highly Respected for his Sacred Water , Which is divided into two kinds as follows:

1.The Sacred Water in the Monk's Bowl.

This Kind of Sacred water is recited with sacred spells that can help the worshipper become more attractive and charming towards the opposite sex. It was revealed by his followers that Luang Phor Rith had repeatedly recited the sacred spells for many thousand of tims for each bowl of sacred water.

2.The Sacred Water in the Temple's Big Jars.

This Sacred water is Believed to hold magic power that can help dispell evils , dangers , and ghosts from the worshippers' lives . Almost everyday you will note people crowded at the temple asking for this water.

Apart from all those above mentioned sacred things, Luang Phor Rith also uses his high-level magic power to directly help rid those people afflicated of possessed with black magic power.

It is said that not only ordinary people were helped by Luang Phor Rith buy also the insane are taken to the temple by their relatives.

People who have witnessesd his sacred ceremonies have said that once a mad person had tried to run away from Luang Phor Rith ( because the ghost who haunted him caused him to do so).
and while people tried to catch him Luang Phor Rith said "NO!"

After that Luang Phor Rith had studied magic sciences from senior Thai and Khmer monks for many decades, and such is his power he can easily recognize the problems of those that visit him even before being told.

It was also recorded that a group of teenages visited the temple to meet Luang Phor Rith who immediately asked them , 'have you come here for protection against an automobile accident' His words surprised the teenagers as they had never mentioned the serious accidednt in which they were involved.

Since that day , they became devoted followers of Luang Phor Rith and have attended all his ceremonies .

For People who do not have sufficient time to visit the temple, His amulet can be worn as effective Talisman for Luck , Prosperity and Happiness , These are the words of Luang Phor Rith

龙婆本屈班拍 Luang Phor Pern Wat Bang Phra


龙婆本大师,生于佛历2466年即公历1923年,家中有8兄弟姊妹,大师排行最小,小时经常要帮助家人下田工作,当介出家年龄时,大师便出家为僧。

大师本于泰国屈通角佛寺向龙婆靓大师学习佛理,学成后便在佛历2491年即公历1948年,改投屈班拍佛寺的龙泡谦大师门下,而且更是龙泡谦大师的最后一名弟子,大师在龙泡谦大师这里学会古代医术、符咒纹身、及各种佛法,大师天资聪敏,尽得其真传后,大师便云游修行,其间机缘巧合,在山中遇上泰国出名的苦行僧人,龙婆胡怕史大师,难得有此机缘,大师便与龙婆胡怕史大师,一起学习交流各种佛理法门,为期约1年,而大师云游苦修共历9年之久。

其后大师受到屈通难挡佛寺当了5年住持。于佛历2505年即公历1962年,大师离开屈通难挡佛寺,回到家乡地区,而且成为屈港咳牟佛寺住持,大师的第一期佛牌,便是在屈通咳牟佛寺制造,大师更在屈通咳牟佛寺开始为善信纹符。

佛历2516年即公历1973年,屈班拍佛寺因龙泡谦大师圆寂后便未有住持多年,准备找一位得道高僧来当住持一职,发现附近有一位龙婆鬓大师原来是其镇的市民,更是屈班拍佛寺前住持龙泡谦大师的得意弟子,所以便硬着头皮到屈通咳牟佛寺,请求大师来屈班拍佛寺担当住持一职,而大师得知原来是先师的佛寺,而且更是自身家乡佛寺,只好接受,但要等屈通咳牟佛寺找到新住持交替后才可;直至佛历2517年即公历1974年,屈通咳牟佛寺有新任住持来接任,大师才正式前往屈班拍佛寺上任住持一职,直至现今。

在屈班拍佛寺,大师继续为善信纹符及制造佛牌,而其中大多有老虎图像,据称,原来大师在修行期间,经常在山中遇上老虎,当大师诵经时,老虎亦奇怪地不会伤害大师,而且每当大师诵经完毕,老虎便会离去;慢慢地大师对老虎亦产生好感,而大师见老虎代表权力,对善信也有帮助,便在为善信纹符及佛牌上亦常常加上老虎图像,而且佛寺内,到处都可见到大师骑老虎之像,因此大师亦有伏虎罗汉之称号。

大师在恭请佛牌、为善信纹符及善信香油得来的金钱,都会用来兴建佛寺、学校、医院、筑桥、建路,可说是大慈善家。

而最为特别是在每年三月,屈班拍佛寺,都会由大师举行一个集体法会,大师大多数弟子及善信都会参加,其间当大师开始念诵经文的时候,一些有大师纹符而定力不够的善信,当听到大师念诵经文时,身上的符咒会吸收经文的力量产生共鸣,更会被符咒力量控制,有些会手舞足动,跟随身上所纹的符印而动,例如纹了老虎而定力不够的善信,便会作出一些像老虎的动作,其中有些善信,更要到最后大师为善信洒佛水后,才会平静下来的。

龙婆鬓大师于2002年6月30日因心脏病于医院中圆寂。

龙婆术屈白览 Luang Phor Sodh


龙婆术大师在佛历2427年(即公历1884年),生于泰国术喷布里符,大师父亲名拉银,母亲名术制,家中经营米粮生意。



大师住所对面是一座佛寺,名叫屈爽铁良,大师小时便在这佛寺由僧人教导知识,各僧人都说大师非常聪明,僧人所教的大师都很快领悟,后来便转到屈班巴佛寺学习,大师14岁那年,因父亲去世,便回家中帮助管理家业。



在大师19岁的一年,大师的佛性再也按不住了,一天大师突然有一念头,"人为什么要不断辛苦工作? 为生活? 但已找够生活的金钱,但同样会不断工作,不断为金钱而工作,为什么? 人始终会有一天会死亡,死后什么也没有,就好像我父亲一样,死后什么也没有,我自身亦有一天会死亡,死后也是什么也没有,那为什么我会在这里不断工作? 人又为什么会来到这个世界? 来到这个世界就是为了不断辛苦工作?",想到这里,大师已决定要效法佛陀寻求真理之道,但大师觉得人是每一天都有机会死亡,便向佛上香求愿,希望在死前能有机会接触真理之道、出家寻求佛法,如能有机会出家定必永不还俗,直至死亡。



在佛历2449年(即公历1906年),大师就在家乡的屈爽铁良佛寺出家,由屈笔读散佛寺的龙婆尼大师,主持出家法事,往后大师便在屈爽铁良佛寺修行,学习佛理,历时一年,便到曼谷佛寺深造。



大师在曼谷的屈匹斜读官佛寺寄居,但大师不只在一所佛寺学习,而是五所佛寺,大师每天早饭后到屈额轮佛寺学习,学习后便回屈匹斜读官佛寺午饭,午饭后便到屈麦哈挞佛寺学习,黄昏再到两所佛寺学习,分别为屈术挞佛寺及屈三搬佛寺,之后便回屈匹斜读官佛寺再行学习。
深造完毕后,大师便在屈匹斜读官佛寺教导佛理,但后来大师要到处宏扬佛法,便离开屈匹斜读官佛寺,大师一路宏扬佛法,途经一所破旧佛寺屈拍史麦哈挞佛寺,便停留下来,为佛寺修保破烂的佛寺及佛像,更教导善信坐禅及佛理,而来学习的善信亦越来越多,但这时候当地的镇长,不满当地的居民都信奉大师,觉得影响当地佛寺的面子,所以便查探大师来历,后来得知大师来自曼谷的屈匹斜读官佛寺,便到向屈匹斜读官佛寺住持拍括印热甩大师投诉,拍括印热甩大师便请大师离开当地,大师得知后,便离开当地,继续宏扬佛法,后来回到家乡屈爽铁良佛寺,在佛寺兴建学校,教导知识,更开办佛学班教导佛理。



一段时间后,大师又离开佛寺,继续宏扬佛法,所到之处都有很多善信向大师学习,信奉大师尊敬大师,但有些地方的人同样因面子问题,不欢迎大师,但大师还是继续到处宏扬佛法,后来曼谷的屈匹斜读官佛寺住持拍括印热甩大师,荣升为曼谷内一镇的最高级僧人,而镇内刚好有一佛寺,被泰国政府承认,但佛寺还未有住持,拍括印热甩大师见大师精进宏扬佛法,便邀请大师到这佛寺担任住持,而这佛寺名字就是屈白览佛寺,龙婆术大师便在佛历2459年(公历1916年),担任屈白览佛寺住持,及后更有龙婆屈白览之称。



大师到屈白览佛寺上任后,便立即开办禅定班、佛学班,还有开设学堂,但在屈白览佛寺原来的僧人,都不喜欢大师这样做,都叫相识的善信不要参加,因此初期没有太多人参加,禅定班和佛学班,大都只有大师以往的弟子,远道而来参与,学堂亦只有三名学生,但大师没有气馁而停办,只有更加努力。



在大师努力期间,有一天晚上,竟有人暗杀大师向大师开炝,子弹射中大师,但奇迹出现,在大师所穿的袈裟的确有两个子弹孔,但大师并未有任何受伤,子弹亦不知所踪,很多善信知道这事后,都责责称奇,更称大师是圣僧,而且更分分参加大师的禅定班、佛学班,而且学堂亦激增多名学生,由最初的三名激增至三百名。



而有一次,一名善信不相信大师,竟到来试大师神通力,"问大师今天会有人到大捐款建禅舍吗",大师听后,闭眼三分钟,便答道,有,今天会有一人到来捐款建两至三间禅舍,那善信觉大师答得像是不肯定说两至三间,便向大师一笑,说今天会在佛寺等待,看看是否真的有人到来捐款,而在两小时后,有一人到来佛寺,求见大师,向大师说看捐款建禅舍,预算建两至三间,就在这次后善信们便流传大师有先知能力,更加尊敬大师。及后大师的名字,在泰国无人不知,而在海外亦很多人尊崇,因此有些外国人都来到屈白览佛寺出家为僧,向大师学习佛理、禅定。禅定班、佛学班及学堂,学生不断增加,因此必定要佛寺及学堂扩建,所以大师在佛历2493年西历1950年制造了第一批有崇笛白览之称的拍矿官佛牌,以作送给捐款人之礼品。



及后大师所办的学堂,亦成为一所学校,后来更由泰国政府接手发展,将之迁至别的地方,现在已变成一所有规模的学舍,而大师便在佛寺中专注教授禅定、佛理,直至佛历2502年公历1959年75岁圆寂,但大师的遗体竟变作不坏之身,现在还安放在佛寺中供奉。 大师所制的佛牌,至今以有很多灵验事迹,例如发生车祸但人没有受伤,遇上贼?炝杀但奇迹人没有受伤......等等,很多很多,而大师所制最为出名的佛牌,便是因筹款而开始制造的拍矿官佛牌,善信都称为崇笛白览,以下是一些大师所制的佛牌

Luang Phor Thuad 龙普脱


龙普脱大师(luang pu tuad) 生于大城皇朝佛历2125年4月星期五;父母家境贫穷,寄居在一位财主家中。当大师弥月之后,一天其母亲抱着儿子跟丈夫至田中收割禾稻,把儿子置在树下临时结成的布摇篮中,夫妇两人则忙于农事,突然一条巨蟒盘于布篮边,两夫妇大惊失色,而一同工作的人亦没有人敢上前救护。大师的父母自觉一向崇信佛教,热心向善,观察片刻见巨蟒并无伤害婴儿之意,心想巨蟒可能是神明化身前来保护儿子,便取来鲜花,及把稻谷烧成炸米,向巨蟒膜拜祷求,保护儿子平安。


夫妇膜拜片刻,巨蟒果然松开蜷曲之身,并化作一阵清风,消失于无形,夫妇便上前观看,见儿子仍睡得正甜,但在其颈际却留有一颗玻璃珠,这颗玻璃珠有多种色泽,光辉灿烂,夫妇二人遂把它保存;后来财主得知消息,要求夫妇让出玻璃珠,夫妇俩见是恩人相求,便把蛇珠让给财主;而财主得到蛇珠之后不久,家中即出现很多不如意之事,弄得鸡犬不宁,财主认为是蛇珠引起不祥,便把蛇珠交还给夫妇;但说也奇怪,自蛇珠转手后,财主家中便安然无事。至于夫妇二人,蛇珠失而复得,则招来一派好运,其后谋生得心应手,生活遂见好转。



当大师七岁时,父母即带大师至wat dee luang佛庙寄居,进修读书。大师聪敏过人,学业进步极快,至十五岁时持剃度为沙弥即小和尚,并在屈诗让佛庙进修佛典,直至届出家年龄便正式成为僧侣。进修完毕后,便乘船到大城皇城,继续求学,当船航行了三日三夜;一天,忽然遇到狂风暴雨,船主等人与巨浪搏斗了三日三夜,直至风平浪静,始告脱险。但此时船上淡水已用完,无水可饮用,而该船主竟迁怒一同乘船的大师,使他们遭遇到此种从未遇过的天灾;在暴怒下,船主竟要大师马上离开,大师无可奈何下了小舟后,把足跨出船外,踏入水中,并叫船员试试其脚旁周围海水之咸度,说也奇怪,大师脚旁海水竟然是淡的;船主闻讯也亲自来试饮,发觉大师脚旁周围海水竟是淡的,而出此范围则是咸水,船主于是盛满航程需要之淡水便继续航行,而鉴于大师法力高强,更赶快把大师迎回大船跪拜求恕罪。到达皇城后大师便到城墙外一所佛寺继续修行。



大师踏海水化淡水的神奇事迹,日后更传遍全国内外,无人不知,无人不晓。因此每逢有龙普脱佛像佛牌供请之时,各方争相供请,外国善信也不息千里而来,捧为至宝。
某年皇城发生霍乱,死者无数,那时药物缺乏,人民多靠求神拜佛来保平安,大师见灾情严重,便念咒作法水,然后在皇城中为民众洒水解灾,自大师作法洒水后,传染病即消失于无形,民众均庆幸得到平安。



大师渐入老年之时,便沿陆路步行返回家园,一路苦行弘扬佛法,普道众生,所经之处,往往有奇迹出现,受到善信崇奉膜拜。大师这次回到家乡wat pha khoh佛庙,受到远近民众之崇敬,热烈欢迎。后来大师因重建佛庙,再到皇城筹措经费,而皇帝更恩准划赐土地重建佛庙,并将地界内的人民,也交由佛庙管辖。



当大师回到wat pha khoh佛庙,已年逾八十;一个月圆之夜,一小沙弥手执一花,在众僧侣要到佛殿上诵经作晚课之时来到大师的佛庙,当众僧侣正步入佛殿经过小沙弥面前之时,没有一位僧侣看到小沙弥手上的花。 当所有僧侣进入后,小沙弥便一同进入,并询问庙中还有没有僧人,众僧答还有一位崇笛周啪过大师,小沙弥便走到大师的僧舍,拜见大师,大师一见小沙弥手上的花,便说这是一朵仙花,小沙弥闻言,知已遇到圣者化身。原来某夜,突有一老者,手执鲜花,一见小沙弥便向他献上这一朵永不凋谢的仙花,要他献给一位有道行者;因有一圣人转生人世,造福人群,弘扬佛法,而只有该圣者化身能认出此花,所以请小沙弥必须千方百计寻访此人,然后该老者即化为一道清风,不知所终。而小沙弥已找了很久,现在终于找到圣者了。

周冠罗 Chao Khun Nor


周冠罗大师出生于佛历2440年2月5日,家中共有5兄弟姊妹,他为长子。在泰王六世时期,他是第一批在泰国大学毕业的学生,毕业后他去了皇宫内当官员,每天负责协助国王的日程和事务安排。至佛历2468年第六世皇圆寂后,他十分伤心的离开了皇宫, 当时他的父母见到大师因六世皇的死而感到十分之伤心,便为他介绍了一位年轻的女教师,但大师对他的父母说,他只想出家成为和尚并在同年的3月23日,六世皇火葬的前一天,他在Wat Dhepsirin佛寺正式出家成为僧侣,为六世皇念经,及后在庙内渡过了他一生的旅程。

其后大师拜了崇笛拍不布崇赞、拍不怀赢干、屈崇文那屈下的主持拍U do 史啦刚为师,向他们学习法门。 而大师从来不接受任何善信的任何捐赠,严守僧侣的每一条的戒律,而曾经有一些善信向寺庙内的主持投诉,大师回答说,他的出家只是为了为六世皇加持祝福及向佛佗学习,他每天都在不断的修行,而善信是来自外面的世界,带有外面的问题,他不希望介入。而当主持听 了他的解释后,便没有再向他追问。

大师从2468年开始他的出家生活,每天只会进食一些蔬菜及壳类,从不间断每一天的早课和晚课,不论在下雨天、甚至是打仗的其间,大师都从未有离开佛寺;于第二次世界大战时期,Wat Dhepsirin佛寺旁的曼谷火车站受到敌人炸弹猛烈轰炸,甚至波及佛寺,众僧侣为了安全都逃离佛寺,唯独大师继续留在佛寺,为的是坚守着自已在庙内一份的信念。

而大师一生从来都没有制造过任何佛牌,只会参与加持开光,但他有份参与念经的佛牌,都拥有不可思议的力量,而大师为信众洒圣水加持时,都会有强烈的白光散发出来,且曾被人拍照证明过,曾经亲自拜见过大师的人,都称其拥有神奇及能预知未来的力量,其中包括预知自己之死亡;在大师圆寂前一天,大师已预先吩咐其侄儿明天以后都不用为大师准备食物;及至第二天,即佛历2514年1月8日,其74岁仙游的当天,他睡在他自已的蚊子网里,双手放在胸前,念了他人生最后一次尊敬佛佗的经文,走完了大师僧侣的一生。

Luang Phor Parn 龙婆班


龙婆班大师在佛历2418年,泰国呀唷挞也府,有一位男婴出生,他的左手尾指生有红色胎印,所以男婴父母为他起名为班(班即为胎印的意思),而这名称班的婴孩,便是我们所认识的龙婆班大师。


大师小时,跟父母到田耕种,及到佛寺由僧侣教导知识,大师求知欲十分强及很聪明,经常都主动发问,而且对佛学更是特别有兴趣,同样大师亦会向僧侣问及关于佛学问题,很多时问及的佛学问题,一般僧侣也不懂如何解答。


时间就在大师不断学习中过去,转眼经已佛历2438年,大师便是这年五月份,在屈班龙和佛寺,正式出家为僧,为大师主持出家仪式是屈班甩么佛寺的龙泡船大师,其后大师不断钻研佛学,更跟随龙泡船大师,学习了多种不同的佛法法门,还学习到医术方面的知识。
大师跟随龙泡船大师学习完毕后,继续不停钻研,其间很多善信求教及治病,部份善信更要求拜大师为师,僧侣便要求大师成为佛寺住持,但大师并没有接受任何要求,大师只说自己道行还未够,还要继续求法学习。


其后大师果真不断到处求法,到过多位高僧处学习,其中如屈找七佛寺的龙泡前大师、屈铁官所跟佛寺的龙泡登大师、屈萨既佛寺的亚赞钻大师、屈内佛寺的龙婆林大师、屈矿乜登佛寺的龙婆龙大师、屈七朗佛寺的龙婆车大师等等。


大师经过不断学习、求法、修行,其佛法经已十分高深,如利用法力为骨折病人接骨、驱邪、解降、医治各种疾病、成就多种不同佛法法门,但大师还经常将求法、学习挂在口边,就大师这种德行及精进,是很值得我们学习。


往后大师还是在不断学习,及于屈班龙和佛寺为善信们作法事、治病、教导佛法,来请大师求教的善信非常之多,而且很多僧人都来向大师求法,拜大师门下。
大师就是这样一直教导善信及弟子,普渡众生,还一边自已不断学那钻研,希望能成就更多法门,能够帮助更多众生。


日子渐渐过去,很快已是佛历2479年,在这年的一天,大师如常用过早饭后,便回房休息,一会儿,突然从房中出来,向多位在等代大师教法的弟子,声称自己要离开了,说后便回去房间,众弟子也不知大师为何突然出来会这样说一句话便回房去,只好在等代大师教导时间,但当时间过了很久大师还没有出来,便到大师房间查看,原来大师真的离开了,大师经已圆寂离开人世。

而现今的善信之所以,这样尊敬大师,奉大师为九大高僧,因为其一生对佛法的精进,及对善信的慈悲外,大师所制的佛牌,也是其中原因,大师所制的佛牌也可说是崇笛佛牌一种,但最特别的是在佛牌上会加上不同的几种动物神兽,佛牌一般称为"拍龙婆班(加上佛牌上的神兽在后)"佛牌,而且大师的佛牌也是神迹多多,佛牌收藏家也对大师的佛牌大感兴趣,所以大师的佛牌价值也是较高,一般在几千港币至三万港币也曾见过。
